Film Festival Review

The film festival was pretty good. The most I saw a movie was twice and that only happened twice so it wasn't that bad. I didn't like some films and felt they were kinda boring hopefully this gets fixed for the real festival. Im looking forward to seeing some of my films this Thursday.

Week of May 29th

This week I finished editing the documentary I was working on. It turned out really well. Hugo and I also finished shooting for our music video. The editing is also done for that one. This week was a very productive week

Week of May 1st

We got our first film graded. We finished the screen play for out second film and talked to Mr.Lansdown and got his approval. Were almost done with the story boards and we plan on filming it next week.

.Week of April 17

The screen play for our narrative is almost done. Were just shooting ideas back and forth all the time. It seems like were all into this movie more than the last one because everyone is much more enthusiastic about saying their ideas. The only problem is that we can't use all the ideas. This one feels like it will come out better because were all really into it.

Week of April 10th

We got our first movie done this week. Personally I think it turned out pretty good. Its all black and white with music playing in the background and someone narrating. Its not the best thing in the world but i think it turned out pretty great. Were going to go over it one last time to be sure there aren't any unecessary parts. Were also going to finish our script for the second film.

What was done. Week 2

This week in my production company we got done with a lot. We started our script for our second movie with is going to be a mockumentary. We also adding everything we have done so far to iMovie and began edeting our movie. Were happy with what we have so far. We will try to finish this weekend and start on the second film next week.

Week March 27

My group got together and recorded a big chunk of the movie. We are still no where near done though?  We also talked about our next movie even though were not done with the first. So far we can't agree for an idea on the second movie but we know its going to be either a documentary or a narative. After many arguments we finally decided on a production company name, we went with Stone FIlms. We haven't started editing but we aren't far from starting. Its not the longest movie but thats because its a PSA. We will probably finish filming this weekend.

What Music Means To Me

Im not one to say I listen to every type of music but, I can say i'm willing to listen to anything. I base my music choices on how "deep" the song is. For me its more if i'm able to relax while listening to it to it or if its just really catchy. I listen to music most of the time i'm awake and sometimes i don't even notice it. I sometimes even play video games because the music is amazing one example is my favorite game of all time The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. A lot of the music I listen to is EDM because when i listen to music i'm usually doing something else and EDM just helps me concentrate. Some of my favorite artist include Porter Robertson, ODESZA and even a hip-hop group known as Death Grips. Music for me is something that helps me pass the time. I think without my whole day would be a little bland.

Problem and Struggles

Personally there really isn't much I have to worry about except for school but that isn't that bad. I know people who have to constantly be moving between there aunts home and mothers home. I also know people who want to drop out during the last semester of twelfth grade. I know people who have dropped out. I don't really know what these people are going through that would make them do that maybe the stress of being a senior got to them and they couldn't handle it. I can't really judge them for wanting to do what they did. Maybe they don't enjoy school, or they're having problems at home. Whatever it is that bothers them, hopefully they find a way to deal with it

The Worlds Most Interesting Person

The most interesting person I know is Ms.Wilson. She's a very interesting person. I think she's a very interesting person because she has so much to say. She's a very knowledge person. She's also the coach of the decathalon team. I think being in decathalon is hard but i cant even begin  to imagine what it must be like to coach it. How does she manage everything? Whenever she's brought up in a conversation everyone has only nice things to say about her. I also have a lot of respect for her because I was in her class for 2 years and in decathalon for a bit. I can honestly say she's a great teacher.

My Anti Drug

My anti drug is playing video games, not just video games. Video games that are pretty competitive. One of my favorites is a very popular computer game called League of Legends. I started playing around two years ago when a friend told me to try it. The game is constantly being changed so its a race to se who can adapt to these changes. What really drew me into the game and made me invest my time and money into it was the ranked system. As you play your "ELO" goes up and you play with more skilled opponents. I also enjoy playing Super Smash Brothers Melee. Melee is a very technical game. Its 13 years old but it still gets played to this day with over 1000 entering major tournaments more than once a year. It takes time to be good at it because you need to be fast and precise. Watch a professional play it is something else. People have to reach about 200 actions per minute. I don't do all this by myself either. I have friends who play them, I have also met people online who enjoy playing the same games. That helps keep my interest.

An Inconvenient Truth

I always knew global warming was an issue. I never took the time to look at what its caused around the world. When Al Gore showed pictures of lakes and rivers that are now a mere shell of what they used to be, it sorta hit me. Everything was so startling. To think that we can do something but not many of us do is very startling. I don't think many have seen the first hand effects of global warming.  It made me happy seeing how passionate Al Gore was about everything he does. I found it amazing that you can notice the difference in the ice from the moment the US passed a law to help the environment. It was surprising to see that people still don't believe in global warming and even worse that some are paid to say its fake and not an issue. "Its difficult to make someone understand when their salary depends on this not understanding it."
